Here is the title sequence from Super Mario Galaxy on the Nintendo Wii. If you look at where the stars are placed on the letters and take away the rest of the letters, we can clearly see the words “U R MR GAY” spelled out. Crazy. Take a look at the video to see what we mean:

It’s made really clever and is basically unnoticable if you don’t pay propper attention to the stars, and that is the point of subliminal messages.

We know they have been used in children’s cartoons and movies, but there are also some subliminal messages present in video games.

This one inserted in Super Mario Galaxy is too obvious to be a fake one, but maybe it was not intentional?

Here is a video made in fun (I think) which highlights several subliminal similarities between Mario and the Russian Communist leader Joseph Stalin… although made in jest there are some quite convincing similarities, so we are not sure – as this may even be for real. 🙂

The logic behind this fun video is that both Mario and Stalin like red stars, both have “superpowers”, they both kill enemies of the people, they fight against donkeys, kings, they are both “heroes” of the people and they both love parades.
